1. Welcoming 2019 and Initiatives by TG25

TG25 PTE LTD (TG25) wish all tenants and residents; a happy healthy and prosperous year 2019. There are many initiatives plan for this year to continue to offer the best living environment for our residents and we list below as follows:

Space and Safe

TG25 have designated space for residents where they can enjoy rest, eat and drink with like-minded residents. This space will offer a quiet and safe environment with minimum risk. This is the result of a concerted effort to disallow and flush-out of loiters and persons eating/sitting in the sheltered car park. These offenders are required to use the designated space. Vehicles movement will pose danger to residents sitting on floor of the sheltered carpark and accidents are waiting to happen for the careless drivers or resident nonchalant behaviour

Picnic with your friends

TG25 provide canvas to encourage the residents to enjoy the open air and open ground at the turf area between cluster 2 and cluster 3 for residents to gather. The canvas allows residents to designate their own space to picnic with friends and more importantly to sit on the canvas instead of directly on the grass area. Reminder, to return clean canvas after use.

Shuttle bus service

TG25 has been providing free shuttle bus service for many months depending on usage and starting 1st Jan 2019 it is compulsory to provide the service according to LTA requirement which has increase cost substantially. Thereafter, TG25 has send 2 circulars reminding tenants on their obligation in the tenancy agreement to provide dedicated transport to the workplace for their residents and TG25 will be charging the tenant at subsidised rates for users/employees of the shuttle bus servicestarting 1st Jan 2019.

Please contact your loved ones to let them know you are staying in a great place Sungei Tengah Lodge using the “Free 7 days

unlimited Wifi” that TG25 has negotiated with one of our vendor GEENET shop (unit #01-05) to give all new residents; a Free 7 days

unlimited Wifi. Their loved ones will be assured that they have safely arrived in Singapore, staying in Sungei Tengah Lodge, contactable and their promising future that will be shared with them.

Plenty water, electricity and gas BUT DON’T WASTE

This is part of the good service to residents to have water, electricity and gas but it is important notto waste it. Any leakage or faulty service pipes would need to be reported by residents and our staff is stepping enforcement action against residents abuses or waste these valuable and costly resources. Therefore, TG25 seek cooperation from residents to help TG25 to prevent vandalism and report others where there are mis-use of these services.

Good hygienic living condition in room

Living with others and sharing room requires roommates to have discipline to keep the room in clean and tidy condition at all times. TG25 noted some rooms have good practice of rotating on weekly basis for one person to be in-charge of room housekeeping. The requirement of no eating and drinking helps to minimise cockroaches, ants etc infestation in the room. The common area in the room must be kept clear of obstruction and for safe evacuation/movement where necessary. Clothes cannot be hanged on the sprinkler pipes and residents can consider using the approved clothes hanger rack which they can purchase from TG25.

TG25 noted more demand for washing of the residents’ precious clothes using the coined machine and there is considerable long queue to use the machine. The coined machine vendor has agreed to install 3 more machines at each residential block. As at the time of this print, Cluster 1 and 2 additional machines have been installed and the rest of residential blocks will have their

additional machines by end of March 2019. The recommended good practice is to use washing powder with less suds and use the recommended quantity for best wash.

Upgrading of Phase 2 Gym#2

The indoor Gym#1 equipment usage is getting increasingly popular with residents. TG25 is putting in effort to upgrade

the equipment in Gym#2. The evaluation and selection took some time and finally TG25 has agreed with vendor on the set

of exercise equipment to be purchased and delivered. Gym#2 will have equipment like Shoulder Press, Incline Chest Press,

Chess Press, Wide Chest Press, full set of Dumbbells and many more additions brought to you by sponsors

Sheltered outdoor exercise area

The outdoor exercise area equipment adjacent to beer garden is underused and TG25 decided to move the outdoor exercise equipment to the sheltered socialising area #3 which would give residents the opportunity to use this equipment regardless of weather condition and avoid the beerdrinking crowd. The sheltered socialising area #3 is big and will have more events to attract the residents to it.

New TVs are installed at the socializing area #1, #2 & #3

Residents may notice a number of TVs installed at socialising area #1, #2 and #3. The TVs will show programmes to entertain residents. TG25 has worked with GEENET to telecast internet cabled TV programme. The cabling has just completed and soon it will telecast sports programme and even foreign films. The viewership will be closely monitored and crowd control measures to be implement by the respective cluster security officers.

3. Activities

Best Cluster Award 2017-2018

In November 2017, TG25 in collaboration with Choa Chu Kang NPC inaugurated the Sungei Tengah Lodge Cluster Competition. The parameters of this competition were;

5. Crime prevention

6. Foreign worker ambassador’s

For this inaugural competition spanning from November 2017 till November 2018, Cluster 5 was triumphant.

Sports Fest 2019

Sungei Tengah Lodge celebrated Chinese Year Public Holiday with a SPORTS FEST. The event composed of various games like Cricket, Volleyball and Darts. This is to gather dormitory residents in a fun filled sports fest and to give them a big break from their monotonous stressful job. This event is to promote camaraderie and maintaining a healthy active lifestyle. It also allows residents in getting to know other nationalities and encourage team building.
